It's very prickly and clips well making a strong dense barrier. Although it looses its leaves in the winter it mixes well with other hedging plants such as hawthorn, holly, hazel, beech, hornbeam, dogwood, dog rose, spindle and field maple. *Planting: 45 cms apart in a double row. *Compost: Use 1 X 60lt bag per 2 metres of hedge.
