These laurels at 1.5-2ft high in 4lt pots are the cheap option if you have time to wait. The planting site will require careful preperation and weeds supressed in the first year. They will also need watering regularly and adequately during the first year. Container grown plants establish much quicker than root-balled or bare-root plants as their roots have not been disturbed when they were dug up and there is still fertilizer in the compost to speed up establishment in the first year.
