Lonicera Nitida is a very useful evergreen hedging plant. It makes a small hedge upto 5ft high and clips well into a neat and formal looking hedge. It has a small leaf and is often mistaken for box hedging but grows very much faster.

Lonicera nitida is an excellent evergreen hedging plant which is ideal for hedges up to 5ft high and should be planted at 45cms apart in a single row . It is tolerant of all soils and grows quickly. Usually it grows rather straggly in its first year but clips very easily into formal shape and is often mistaken for box hedging.
