Portuguese Laurel 2-3ft high in a 10lt pot.Portuguese laurel is an excellent hedging plant that will grow in partial shade. Currently these plants are 2ft high but should be at least 3ft by the Autumn. t clips well and makes an excellent robust hedge. They are shown in the picture spaced at 50cm (2 per metre) although you could plant them at 60cms if you are not in a hurry. The site should be carefully prepared before planting and compost used to help the plants establish themselves.If left untrimmed Portuguese laurel will form a small tree with highly scented white flowers in April/May.
