Euonymus Emerald Gaiety (Euonymus fortunei ‘Emerald Gaiety’) is a bushy evergreen shrub that has rounded leaves with a white margin that tinges pink in the winter. These specimens are growing in 2lt pots and and are an excellent shrub to plant in many different situations.
It is not suitable for creating a tightly shaped hedge as it has more of a spreading habit.
Euonymus Emerald Gaiety is slow growing and although it may ultimately spread to 1m or so, it will take many years to get to that size and can be trimmed annually.
Euonymus Emerald Gaiety will grow well in most soil types, and is tolerant of partial shade and full sunshine, however we recommend that planting compost is used to give your plants the best chance of establishing well in their first few years after planting.
More information about Euonymus in general can be found on the Euonymus hedging category page. We usually stock a range of different sizes of container grown plants throughout the year.
